The multipurpose low shooter

The Orbiter 750 hybrid is the synthesis of two existing low shooters - the Orbiter 500 superflat and the Orbiter 500 ultraflat. It was designed to match all requirements of both systems in one unit, same time preventing all disadvantages. Camera and working position can be switched in height from ultraflat to superflat - the standard and most ergonomic operation setup.

Overview

The new Orbiter can also be applied at very critical camera positions such as the centre pitch camera at soccer. Close to coaches and the fourth referee space is limited and views must be unrestricted. This is accomplished by the Orbiter 750, the low shooter with the most flexible set ups worldwide. This permits to place it almost everywhere without interfering with anybody working close to it.

Designed as an all in one device the two crucial parameters - the mounting height of the camera and the swiveling seat - can be adapted easily from the lowest possible height above ground to the comfortable and ergonomic working position of the well known Orbiter 500 super flat.

At soccer matches it can be used at all camera positions close to the pitch. At tennis broadcasts it comes in handy if positioned close to the net and at athletics it is often used at the end of jump discipline areas. The Orbiter 750 provides a range 360° for the operator in a low sitting working position and it allows trouble-free movement due to its central cable feeding. It allows independent movement of camera and seat. Horizontal pan and movement of the seat are not linked but on the same axis. Steady pictures are achieved by the Orbiter‘s patented design. Contrary to other low shooters the seat is not directly connected to the camera column. This means no shock motions are transmitted from the operator to the camera.

Improving and completing the features of the types superflat and ultraflat the Orbiter 750 hybrid does not require time consuming assembling. It is just being positioned and leveled. Neither legs nor a platform have to be mounted. Delivered together with a transportation unit it is as mobile as all its relatives of the Orbiter family.
