The Bebob BOX-FS is an under camera, tripod mounted metal frame that holds recorders such as the FireStore FS-4 and FS-100. Alternatively, the BOX-HVR is designed for Sony HVR-DR60 recorders.

The portable hard disk recorders are conceived for numerous DV and HDV hand held cameras - nowadays a very helpful solution, with a new recording technology. Until now the FireStore was mounted directly to your camcorder or clipped to your belt.

The Box-FS is a very good solution for skilfully attaching a FireStore below the camera. And the camera together with the FireStore holder can still be used as a hand held camera or fastened to the tripod.

On the top side the Box-FS has a pin and a quarter inch screw, that is to be fastened under the camera. As is the case with a tripod plate, the screw must be tighten to secure the Box-FS under the camera tightly.

On the underside of the FireStore holder there are two mounting devices for tripod plates (hole and quarter inch thread), so it can be fixed to any tripod.

Should you want to work without a tripod, the Box-FS serves as an additional brace surface and at the same time provides protection for the camera.

The pin on the side unlocks the drawer. The FireStore is put into the drawer, the bearing surface is padded, preventing the hard disk recorder becoming scuffed.

To insert or to remove the FiresStore, pull the draw out completely. Insert the FireStore with the operating panel face up into the exact cut-out. If you push the draw back a little bit into the box then the drawer with the FireStore clicks in automatically. This will prevent the recorder falling out.

In order to reach the operating devices or to read the information on the display, you need only to pull out the draw with the FireStore. As is the case with all our products, users were also involved in the development at the Box-FS. An important observation noted by the users was that one likes to glance repeatedly at the screen in order to be certain that all recordings were successfully stored.

The drawer is pushed entirely underneath the camera, thus the holder is not longer than the camera.

The FireStore fits in the drawer both with the small and with the large battery. Even though the fan slots are vacant, sound recordings are in no way interfered, because the FireStore holder is under the camera.

The Box-FS is manufactured from aluminum/synthetic material and only weighs 500g.

Box-FS is suitable for all miniDV and HDV camcorders.
