The 16Digital Mag is designed for documentaries and independent feature film productions and especially interesting for film universities and camera equipment rentals. The 16Digital Mag CMOS sensor produces cinema quality with a 2/3” image sensor in full HD resolution.

The implementation of CineForm 10bit RAW or 4:2:2 High Definition formats in the PS-Mag 16DSR-III allows for the user to choose between Digital Film, High Definition and analogue film - exceptional pictures meet flexible workflow simplicity!

Digital image capturing onto the opto-mechanical movie camera allows for on set operation which is close to film camera operation. The 16Digital SR Mag is a simple and quickly reversible mechanical setup which saves your investment in 16mm equipment!

RAW and HD workflow capability

The unique and universal design supporting RAW and HD via HD-SDI outputs in 1920x1080 guarantees full flexibility. Instead of flickering PAL or NTSC video assists, a HD-SDI output is available

Compressed and uncompressed recording - CineForm

CineForm compressed and uncompressed recording in 10bit 4:2:2. The 16Digital SR Mag offers multiple frame rate settings in 1080 in 24, 25, 30fps and 60fps (planned) and is switchable between 59.94 Hz and 50 Hz modes

Direct access to digital post production with PSRushes

An efficient and convenient workflow is ensured by several partners such as AJA, Cinegy, Digital Vision, DVS, Iridas and Quantel.
