Box-VCT-14 allows the use of a broadcast tripod plate VCT-14 by Sony or SHAN-TM700 by Panasonic. The tripod plate remains on the tripod and allows for quick switching between a DV camcorder and a shoulder-held camera.

The Box-VCT-14 is compatible with the Bebob under-camera holders.
